Small groups
What is a Small Group?
A Small Group is an intentional group of people who meet weekly to study God's Word, as we walk together through the ups and downs of life. We encourage each other, celebrate life’s accomplishments, share meals, and pray for each other.
Currently we have five active groups:
- one group that gather in-person in Almancil
- four groups meeting on zoom at different days of the week.
Since we are a congregation spread out throughout the Algarve, zoom groups have been helpful in shortening our distances so we can still be together during the week and also has provided an opportunity for our part-timers and friends who live abroad to join us.
Our groups are made up of people from Christ the King, but also from other Churches and even non-church goers. We all have in common the desire to meet regularly to chat, ask questions, and explore the word of God in discussion with others.
