Bilingual Church Service In The Park
In line with their summer program of welcoming distinct and diverse International Ministers, Christ The King Anglican Church in Almancil has just announced an exciting addition to their schedule.
On Sunday August 28th the Rev Rodrigo Cavalcanti da Silva from Braga will be presiding over a Bilingual Holy Communion Service at The Church in the Park, Jardim das Comunidades, Almancil. The service will be in English and Portuguese with a direct translation from Portuguese to English for the sermon.
“This is a huge leap for Christ the King,” said Jenny Wills Chairperson “This Summer we have been blessed with Ministers visiting us from all over the world, including South Africa, Holland and the UK and each bringing with them their own particular skills of teaching, ministry and pastoral care. Rev Rodrigo is our first Portuguese speaker and we are using that as an opportunity to welcome all our Portuguese friends and contacts from our community here in Almancil to our Sunday worship.
