ASCA Handicrafts

An enjoyable morning was spent at ASCA painting designs for Chrismas cards...at least one of which will be used by ASCA for their Christmas card and email greetings to all their associates and supporters. The numbers of residents and Day centre members taking part seem to grow and grow. This week we worked with eight residents plus seventeen in the Day Centre. All the volunteers who take part agree that it is also so much more than the craft activity but an opportunity to build relationships with the elderly people. It is wonderful to see the interactions hap-pening which cross language barriers.
