Heavenly Father, as we join together in prayer in this beautiful place with open hearts, we give you thanks and praise for your wonderful world and all that you give us every day. We offer up our prayers for the church, the world and all its people. We thank you for what we can feel, see, hear, touch and taste. Almighty God, our heavenly Father, you promised through your son, Jesus Christ, to hear us when we pray in faith.
Father of Heaven and Earth we give you praise that we are once more here in the park, where we can see your creation reflected in our surroundings. We give you thanks for Christ The King church and all those who work to bring the services together every Sunday.Guiding Counselor, we ask you to lead Christ the King into a unified state, a Church that does your work, with people who work for you and your glory. Unify us in our vision. Equip us with the knowledge and skills we need to go forth and make disciples. Let us be missionary in our thoughts and deeds, thinking and putting others in front of ourselves.
We pray for the Church of Nigeria, whose vision is to be a Bible based, strategic mission agency, equipped and mobilized to evangelize and make new disciples for Christ.
Lord in Your mercy
Hear our prayer
Ruler of all mankind, how it must make you sad to see the greed and destruction of the world around us, the enslavement of many, the small percentage of people who believe that they are above God and do not care for the harm they are doing to this world. We believe that God has a plan and God’s power will save this world. Equip us, as Christians, to speak out, stand up and take action against what we see is wrong. Let the world hear our voice as we evangelize, let us show through our actions and care of others that we are children of the one true God.
We ask for assistance with the fires raging out of control in the Amazon. We pray for the threatened loss of biodiversity and the dangers for human health caused by the smoke.
Lord in Your mercy
Hear our prayer
Attentive God, we express our gratitude that you are constantly with us, even when we stumble in our faith you remain with us, waiting patiently for our return. We pray today for all those that are not safe in their homes, especially for those suffering with spousal abuse. A marriage should be a loving and caring partnership, and a home should be the haven from all that is wrong in this world. Father, we ask that laws are strengthened to prevent all forms of abuse in people’s homes, regardless of their age or gender.

Hear our prayer
Healing God, there are so many ailing in this world, and you have given us the knowledge to heal and prevent many illnesses. We ask that pharmaceutical companies use this knowledge to save and prevent the loss of lives, not for monetary gains.
Strengthen us in our faith as we pray for all those on our prayer list. Let those that cry out to you for healing believe the words that they say, knowing that you hear and answer all prayers.

Hear our prayer
All embracing Father, for those that have died we can only pray that they now rest in eternal peace with you in Heaven. Comfort us in our grief, help us to live our lives without our loved ones, who have passed. Lord of light and love, shine your light in our dark world, show us the way forward is with love for one another. Bring peace where there is war, relief where there is hunger and suffering, justice and mercy for the downtrodden. Let us pray without ceasing until your Kingdom comes.
